At this workshop you will learn how to balance yearbook while discovering hot trends and design and developing a theme package.
You'll create your cover, see how to provide inclusive coverage and master marketing the book.

Featuring Leland Mallett
Leland has been advising yearbooks and newspapers since 1999. He is the newspaper and yearbook adviser at Legacy High School in Mansfield, Texas. Legacy's publications have won Crowns, Pacemakers, and Stars. Mallett serves as the Webmaster for the Texas Association of Journalism Educators (TAJE). In 2015 he won the Max Haddick Texas Adviser of the Year award from ILPC. He has also won the Edith Fox King Award, TAJE Trailblazer, Dow Jones Recognition Adviser, JEA's Yearbook Special Recognition, Distinguished Yearbook Adviser awards, and JEA Adviser of the Year. Leland loves the art of telling stories in any media.
